Project

A Club with the level of grandiose of Sporting Clube de Portugal may not occupy itself only with sport; it also has obligations of social responsibility and corporate citizenship. In order to develop, in a structured way, projects that deal with social causes, Sporting Clube de Portugal created the project SPORTING SOLIDARITY, a project commissioned with the objective of the mobilisation of a civil society that deals with issues of solidarity.
 
Sporting, with more than one hundred years of history, is proud to act as a role-model in key areas of society: such as education and health. The reputation of the Club permits the use of its image, associated with a diverse range of causes, as a social agent that can play an important role in civil society and in the seeking of solutions to the needs of society; with the Club, in the very least, providing support for the overcoming of any adversary.

The SPORTING SOLIDARITY project is supported by the Club, its athletes and all fans and brands of whom it is associated with.
