Chapter VII - General provisions

Article 67

The associated year is to run from the first of July of a calendar year until the thirtieth of June of the following calendar year (alteration approved in GA of the 29th of July 2004).

Article 68

Always when the three months that proceed the dates mentioned in article 33, number 1, and 34, number 1, when elections for the Board or for the fiscal and Disciplinary Council will be held, those dates mentioned are automatically extended three months in order to aid the proclamation of those elected.

Article 69

1 - the dissolution of SPORTING CLUBE DE PORTUGAL can only be by deliberation of the general Assembly, expressly convened for such a purpose, with a nominal vote taking place that must have the approval of three quarters of the votes of the members represented in General Assembly.
2- In case of dissolution, the assembly is to establish the regulations that govern the liquidation. With the exception of the cases of Trophies and medals, of final destination to be fixed. The same applied to the other assets and valuable pieces of the Club, or close, which however are not be distributed to associates.

Article 70

Deliberations about the alterations of statutes requires a qualified majority of, in the least, three quarters of the votes associated with the present members.

Article 71

1 - The present statutes, adopted in the reunion of the General Assembly of the twenty sixth of July nineteen ninety six come into force on the date of the respective deed, without prejudice to number 3 of article 168 of the Civil code, and will become the fundamental governing laws of the Club, replacing all other laws.
2- The Board ought to establish the deed referred to in the anterior provision within thirty days of the deliberation and approval of the present statutes.
