Domingos: “What matters is the win”
Speaking in a flash interview with SportTV, The Sporting coach pointed out the Lion’s ruthlessness in front of goal against Beira-Mar. “What matters is the win, but we knew that it would be a tough game against a tricky opponent. To be honest, we were also feeling a bit nervous. We were really clinical in front of goal in the first half, but we let possession slip a little bit towards the end of the second,” noted Domingos Paciência.

Reflecting on his side’s season so far, the Alvalade boss noted: “We were building a solid base, but then a few injuries complicated things. If we can bring back some of the lads from injury who really helped the team at the start of the season then will start to rack up points. What matters most is that the lads got the win. Today gave us a confidence boost and the team is only going to do bigger and better things.
