Talking in a little more depth about the game, the coach noted: “We knew that Moreirense were going to play like that, sitting back and playing with every bit of soul and motivation that they have. Basically we gave them a 45 minute head start. Not even the goal that we scored was enough to give us the lead at halftime. We played more aggressively in the second half and took a few chances, but we drew a game that we should have won.”

Asked if he could put his finger on a particular reason for the draw, the coach affirmed: “I can! The team didn’t start well. Teams come here to defend and if we can’t break that down then we are going to have this kind of problem.”
