Miguel Veloso: "The victory puts a smile on the team’s face"
Miguel Veloso, following his brace against Pescadores da Costa de Caparica, noted: "We started the game well, but we have to give credit to Pescadores for how they played. We did everything we could to turn the game around, we managed it and that is what is most important. The victory puts a smile on the team’s face and hopefully this is the start of a new cycle".
Speaking about his role as the night’s left winger, Veloso noted that "I never said I don’t want to play there. Its simply that it’s a position where I don’t feel so comfortable, but its important to give your all; no matter where you are lucky enough to play".
As for the impending derby clash, Veloso noted that "We are going to go into the game looking to win, just as we always do. We will give our all to get the win". |
