A group of Professional Football Management graduates, supported by the Portuguese Football Federation and the Portuguese Institute of Sports, were in Estádio José Alvalade and the Sporting Museum on Friday afternoon to meet with the Club's Stadium manager, Henrique Estrela da Cunha.During the visit, which included various bosses from a wealth of African sports clubs and institutions, president Luís Godinho Lopes also made an appearance.
Taking the opportunity to highlight Sporting's quickly developing relationship with Africa, the president reflected on the Club's recent trip to Angola: “We are creating sustainable relationships with Portuguese speaking African countries. We went to Angola with the objective of helping with the development of the country with respect to youth training and what people do with their free time. We would also like to help with the training of coaches and referees, with the intention of restructuring football in Angola.”
