He has already played in various positions and been given countless different tasks on the pitch, but he has always played for Sporting. Arriving at Alvalade aged just seven, Carlos Mané is one of the finest examples of the Sporting youth system and has already worn the captain's armband on a number of occasions.
After winning a district championship with the youth team, he went on to win the under-19 national championship before moving up to Sporting B in 2012/13. In the following season, he made his debut for the senior team in October 2013 and went on to feature 21 times, scoring 4 goals.
He burst back onto the scene in 2014/15, bagging nine goals in 43 matches in a season that finished with a Portuguese Cup.
