Rafael Camacho was born in Lisboa and integrated Sporting CPs youth squads. After 5 years at Sporting, he moved to England where he played for Manchester City during 2 years. After briefly returning to Portugal, Rafael moved once again to the UK, this time to play for Liverpool FC.

In just 3 years, he played for the U-18, U-19 and U-23, having also been called to the "reds" Main Squad, under Jürgen Klopp. He played in the Premier League as well as having integrated the starting 11 for the FA Cup before returing home to Sporting CP.

Rafael is now part of the Lions Main Squad and has already admitted that playing with the green and white jersey is dream come true.
