Luis Martins and Co. re-find their winning form with goals from Gelson Dala and Matheus Pereira

Sporting CP B returned to winning form in Ledman LigaPro this Weekend, courtesy of a 3-0 home victory over V. Guimarães B.

After slipping to the first loss of his command (2-1 against Penafiel), Luís Martins rallied his troops for what promised to be a tough encounter. To continue what has been a brilliant turnaround in Sporting CP B's fortunes, Martins brought in first team faces André Geraldes, Ricardo Esgaio, João Palhinha, Francisco Geraldes, Ryan Gauld and Matheus Pereira.

On 7 minutes it was Matheus Pereira who opened the scoring, rounding off a move down the right that the Brazilian week blasted past Miguel Oliveira. Sporting CP B's speed going forward was breathtaking and on 19 minutes the scoreboard ticked over again, this time when Ricardo Esgaio set up Gelson Dala for a shot that took a kind deflection its way back into the net.

Down the other end Bruno Mendes and Hasshim Domingo looked the most dangerous for the visitors, but Pedro Silva cleaned up any chances of a Guimarães goal with relative ease.

The third and final goal of the encounter also came before the break, again through Dala when the in-form Angolan finished following some good work from Francisco Geraldes.

The match expectedly slowed after the break, with Sporting CP managing the rest of the action.
