The squad stay sharp against Clube Oriental de Lisboa

Sporting Clube de Portugal played a friendly match during the international break this past Saturday, defeating Clube Oriental de Lisboa 5-1.

The match, held at the Academia Cristiano Ronaldo, went into halftime with a 2-0 lead. The Sporting CP goals were scored by Hidemasa Morita (x2), Alisson Santos and Samuel Justo, in addition to an own goal.

Rui Borges selected João Virgínia, Matheus Reis, Hidemasa Morita, Maxi Araújo, Ousmane Diomande, Alisson Santos, Rayan Lucas, Eduardo Quaresma, Rafael Nel, Ricardo Mangas, and Samuel Justo for his starting XI, with several youngsters from the academy also being used.

The squad will return to training on Wednesday morning.
