Call-ups for Rui Silva, Gonçalo Inácio, and Francisco Trincão

Rui Silva, Gonçalo Inácio, and Francisco Trincão have been called up by Portugal coach Roberto Martínez to represent their national team at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The squad list was announced this Tuesday in Oeiras.

The three players will all be participating for the first time in the competition.

Portugal vs. DR Congo - June 17th, NRG Stadium (Houston)

Portugal vs. Uzbekistan - June 23rd, NRG Stadium (Houston)

Colombia vs. Portugal - June 28th, Hard Rock Stadium (Miami)

Ousmane Diomande has been called up by the Ivory Coast and Zeno Debast is also on the squad list for Belgium, with the pair the other Sporting CP players confirmed as being involved in the competition in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
