Sporting CP terminates contract with Fábio Magalhães

Sporting Clube de Portugal has decided, on mutual agreement, to terminate its contract with the handball player Fábio Magalhães.

Magalhães joined the club in 2009/10 and played a part in the squad that won the Challenge Cup that same season.

Sporting CP thanks Fábio Magalhães for his dedication to the club during his seven seasons with us.

Fábio Magalhães, Pedro Solha, Pedro Portela and Bosko Bjelanovic all feature for World Championships play-off

The Portuguese national coach Rolando Freitas has called Sporting athletes Fábio Magalhães, Pedro Solha, Pedro Portela and Bosko Bjelanovic into his squad for the coming World Championships play-off against Iceland.

The Portuguese will take on Island on the 12th and 16th of June.
