Sporting CP renews with Iguarivarius

Partnership supporting Sporting CP's judo department extended to 2020

Sporting CP and the Iguarivarius group have extended their partnership in support of Alvalade's judo department. The partnership, which started four years ago as part of the Olympic cycle concluded in 2016, has now been extended through to the Tokyo 2020 Games. In addition to being a profitable relationship for Iguarivarius, Sporting CP has also benefited in terms of results: "It is one of the most relevant partnerships we have. The support of Iguarivarius has been fundamental for the success of our judo department and we are extending through another Olympic cycle. This is what we have also wanted", said Bruno de Carvalho about the new deal.

The president of the Iguarivarius group, Mário Correia, also highlighted the importance of the new agreement: "We are satisfied with this partnership. It has been the engine for some great results, so together we agree that it makes complete sense to carry on together. Hopefully the excellent results will keep coming for the next four years."

The group's executive president, Alexandre Cavalleri, also gave his backing: "It was important for us to keep up our relationship with Sporting CP. We have really been supporting the club and we will carry on doing so. This institution gave us guarantees in relation to the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games. It is a pleasure to see young athletes growing up in a sport packed with the ethics that Sporting CP represents."

Alvalade sports director Helena Duarte also praised the support of Iguarivarius: "It has been fundamental for the results we have been getting, both nationally and internationally."

Sporting CP teams up with Salutare Clinic

Another partnership to care for Sporting CP athletes in the north of Portugal

Sporting CP has secured a partnership with the Salutare Clinic in Braga, as part of the club's programme to support athletes living in the north of Portugal.

The Salutare Clinic protocol comes on the back of similar deals with Fisiomar (Póvoa do Varzim) and Fisiojane (Famalicão), supporting the treatment and recovery of athletes from the club's athletics and Olympic departments.

Speaking about the new partnership, Sílvia Saiote affirmed the importance of providing care for athletes who do not have immediate access to the Estádio José Alvalade facilities: "We pick clinics based on a rigorous criteria and we are always looking to help our athletes. This is a partnership not only for our Olympic department, but also for our athletics teams too."

The Salutare Clinic co-founder was also on hand to share his thoughts: "It is really good to work with the best athletes and we can share our experience with Sporting CP's medical team too."

Olympic Department teams up with Fisiojoane

Partnership until 2020 for Alvalade athletes living in the north of the country

Similarly to the protocol agreed with Fisiomar in  Póvoa do Varzim, Sporting CP has closed a deal with Fisiojoane, located in Santo Tirso and Guimarães. The objective of the new relationship is to provide services to atheres who live and train in the north of the country, in support of the club's medical department.

Sporting CP's Sílvia Saiote was on hand to reflect on the deal: "This protocol comes from the identification of a need for support for out athletes in the north of the country. This partnership enables to club to provide additional services, in addition to those we have in Alvalade. Fisiojoane is very well known and was recommended by Sara Moreira, so we are really proud of this relationship."

Clinical director Carla Mendes also commented on the protocol: "We want to hit at those top levels and this protocol can contribute to that, although some of our athletes are already involved in the top competitions. I think this is a good deal for and for Fisiojoana. Having a clinic nearer to where you live and train brings that extra bit of value."

Marcon renews partnership with Alvalade football, futsal, handball and roller hockey

Following the success of the deal signed in 2014, Sporting Clube de Portugal and Macron have officially penned a new partnership, valid until 2020/2021.

In addition to football, futsal, handball and roller hockey, Macron is also lending backing to Sporting CP's Olympic ambitions in Tokyo 2020.

The past two and a half seasons have seen the two brands go from strength to strength, increasing visibility and marker share with a project that has bolstered both Sporting CP's and Macron's position in both national and international markets.

Alvalade teams up with Sports Marketing giants Traffic Sports

Sporting CP penned a deal with Traffic Sports this week, with an agreement that will bring together Alavalade and the sports marketing multinational.

Speaking about the deal, Traffic Sports CEO Frederico Pena was keen to explain how Sporting CP can benefit from the new relationship: "It is a real honour for us to sign a protocol with such a big club. The idea is to close the gap between Brazilian football and Sporting CP. We have a long tradition with top level athletes and we want to build up a relationship between Sporting CP and Brazil, to take the Alvalade brand that extra bit further. We are looking for opportunities and We think Sporting CP can have a bigger presence in Brazilian football and in the country in general. The club is really well thought of over there, with some great players having already played here."

Sporting CP agrees new deal with Super Bock

Bruno de Carvalho and Rui Lopes Ferreira extend partnership

Sporting and Super Bock have extended their relationship with a new deal valid until the end of the 2017/2018 season, with an option for an additional year.

The partnership has already been in place for eight years and the CEO of UNICER, Rui Lopes Ferreira, couldn't be happier with the deal. 
 
"This renewal is the continuation of a successful partnership. Super Bock and Sporting CP are two household names, both nationally and internationally. We hope to see Sporting CP carrying on building up a thirsty for victory and the values that the club has, because there is a lot in common between us", said the the UNICER boss.
 
Bruno de Carvalho was also satisfied, nothing: "We will carry on working with Super Bock. We want to bring a smile to the faces of everyone at UNICER, as well as our 3 millions fans. It was a deal shaped by this board of directors and it means a lot to us, because they have always believed in us."

Sporting CP agreed a protocol with Inphtech this week, with the goal of developing personalised laptops.

“We picked Sporting CP because the club has been looking to do something innovative in recent years. Today the club is looking to win and Infhtech lines up with that", said the Inphtech administrator, Tiago Ramos.

President Bruno de Carvalho was also on hand to share his thoughts: "Since coming in we have looked to team up with companies who focus on modernity. We like being associated with technology companies and Inphtech is a sign of quality. It is a perfect partnership that will move us forward in terms of technology."

Toor and Azmad secure sticks and protection equipment deal for next season

Sporting CP signed a deal this week with Toor (protection material) and Azemad (sticks), valid for the coming roller hockey season.

“The club is investing in a winning project and that is why it is associating with these brands. Toor and Azerad dominate the Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian markets, which are the biggest in the roller hockey world, which is why Sporting has teamed up with them, said Alvalade roller hockey coordinator José Trindade about the deal.
