The Sporting CP trampoline stars Diogo Abreu and Sílvia Saiote both claimed bronze medals in the World Cup in Baku, with the pair finishing on the podium in both the individual and syncronised events.

"To come back and start well is great and now I hope to start this Olympic cycle strong. I trained hard for this competition. I kne it was important to start well and to avoid experimenting things", said Saiote in an interview with Sporting TV on arriving back in Lisbon.

For Diogo Abreu, the start to the season is always the source of butterflies in the stomach: "This is my first individual medal in a World Cup and it is great, especially with seven athletes who were at the last Olympic Games taking part. This was the start of the season, but I think that I have been doing a good job and I am at the top of my form."
