Tondela training camp with Alvalade quintet in action

The Portuguese Rugby Federation has announced its squad list for an under-18 training camp taking place this weekend in Tondela.

A total of five Sporting CP athletes feature: Constança Serra, Joana Silvestre, Francisca Baptista, Maria Pedro and Paula Lourenço.

Isabel Ozório and Leonor Amaral included in national sevens squad

Isabel Ozório and Leonor Amaral both feature in the national rugby squad for the 1st stage of the European Sevens circuit, taking place in Kazan, Russia.

The pair now join what is a rare role of honour for Sporting rugby players on international duty.
