Rui Borges brings in B team players to make up the numbers

Sporting Clube de Portugal returned to training this Wednesday, following last Sunday's home victory against FC Alverca and two days off.

Due to the international break, coach Rui Borges worked with a reduced squad, without Rui Silva, Gonçalo Inácio, Pedro Gonçalves and Francisco Trincão (Portugal), João Simões (Portugal Under-21s), Zeno Debast (Belgium), Ousmane Diomande (Ivory Coast), Georgios Vagiannidis (Greece), Maxi Araújo (Uruguay), Morten Hjulmand (Denmark), Luis Suárez (Colombia) and Iván Fresneda (Spain Under-21s).

To complete the group, Rayan Lucas, Bruno Ramos, David Moreira, Rômulo, Rodrigo Dias, Kauã Oliveira, Samuel Justo, Mateo Tanlongo, Lucas Anjos, and Paulo Cardoso, from the  B team, were called up for the session.
