To buy a member ticket, do I need to have my dues up to date?
Yes, to buy the member ticket you need to be a member and have the dues regularized at the time of the visit.

What are the opening hours?
The tours run every day of the week. There may be schedule changes or cancellation of tours due to games or events at the José Alvalade Stadium. The tour ticket office is open from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm and the Museum from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm. The Stadium Tour takes place at 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm, 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

What is the price of the tickets? Are there discounts for students, seniors or groups?

Is the tour guided or free?
The stadium tour is guided. The visit to the museum is free, but when possible there is room surveillance to help you.

Is there an audio guide available? In which languages?
There is no audio guide available, however you can download the Sporting Experience app and have access to exclusive content from the tour. It is available in Portuguese and English, for Android and IOS.

How long does the visit last, on average?
On average, the visit to the stadium and the museum can take 1h30.

Does the tour include changing rooms, access tunnel and lawn?
The Stadium Tour route includes several places, including the locker room area, conference room or pitch. However, due to events or games, there may be changes in the route.
Services and Infrastructures

Where are the toilets?
In the VIP Hall, next to the tour ticket office and in the museum, there are adapted toilets and baby changing facilities.

Are there lockers?
There are no lockers. However, subject to availability, you can request the possibility of storing objects at the tour ticket office.

Is the museum accessible for people with reduced mobility?
Both the museum and the stadium have access such as ramps or elevators. Subject to availability, you can request a wheelchair at the tour ticket office to use exclusively during the tour.

Is photography or filming allowed inside the stadium and museum?
Photography is permitted in the stadium unless otherwise stated. In the museum it is allowed to film and photograph (without flash) unless otherwise noted. Only amateur equipment is allowed and the images collected can be used for personal use only.

Is there a café or restaurant in the museum?
No, however, the stadium's VIP Hall has a vending machine. On weekdays it is also possible to have lunch in the restaurant on the 3rd floor of the stadium (except on match days or events). At the stadium's multisport and at Alvaláxia there are still other options.

What is the most famous piece/work?
The first trophy won by Football, the most recent achievements and the European trophies in sports.

Where is the temporary exhibition?
At the moment there is no temporary exhibition.

Can I buy a catalogue of the exhibition?
At the moment there is no exhibition catalogue.

Are there activities for children or families?
In addition to the regular tours, there are also other activities dedicated to children and families, subject to availability and programming, such as the educational service, birthday parties and bootcamps. For more information, just send an email to family&kids@sporting.pt
Access and Tickets

Do I need to buy admission in advance?
You can make an in-person purchase at the tour ticket office in the VIP Hall or make the purchase online. We recommend buying in advance to guarantee a place on the tour.

What is the best time to avoid queues?
The availability of schedules for visits is adapted according to demand to ensure that there are no queues. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the visit time to purchase the ticket.

Is there a time limit to stay at the stadium or museum?
The visit to the stadium will have to follow the rhythm of the cultural mediator and the rest of the group, so the duration of the tour may vary to the detriment of the dynamics of the group itself. At the museum, you can stay until closing time.

Does the ticket include visits to the internal areas?
The tour route includes public areas and private areas with access only on the tour.
Logistics and Guidelines

Where can I park?
It is possible to park outside or in the underground car park of the José Alvalade Stadium next to Gate B, floor -1 or floor -2. Upon request and availability at the tour ticket office, you can request 1 1-hour discount voucher for the underground car park. It is not valid for tickets with Via Verde.

Is there public transport nearby?
Yes, near the José Alvalade Stadium there is the Campo Grande bus terminal with Carris Bus stop: 43b, 44b, 771, 736, 750, 767, 747,701, 778, 796, 798. and metro stop. There is also the Campo Grande metro station with access via the green or yellow line.
Security

What objects are prohibited?
Objects or substances that endanger the stadium, the museum's assets, the normal operation of the tour and the safety of visitors are prohibited.

Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is not allowed during the tour.

Is there a lost and found service?
If you lose any personal belongings during the tour, you must give this indication to the tour mediator. If you only notice that your belongings are missing after the visit is over, you should inform the security guard in the VIP Hall of the stadium.
