Seventh place in qualifier not enough to advance into 400m hurdles semi-final

Representing Costa Rica, Sharolyn Scott was left to settle with a 7th place finish in her series in the 400m hurdles this week in Rio.

The Sporting runner finished in a time of 58.27s, which was not enough to move her into the semi-finals.

"It wasn't what I expected. I am not happy with my time", said Sharolyn Scott after the event.
